I'm so happy I'll be able to see The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus soon. I've been waiting months. I know I will go see it, but at the same time there's a huge part of me that doesn't want to. Looking at pictures of Heath from this movie, reading updates about it, it was all so nice and comforting and I felt like that kept Heath around. Now that the movie is done and already in theaters, it feels so final and like it's the end. Does anyone else feel the same way? I don't like thinking about this. But like I said, I will see the movie. I'll even buy it.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT, BATMAN!

A recent study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, conducted by scientists at King's College (London), suggests that the G-spot doesn't actually exist after all.

This is the signal for dozens of Jezebel commenters to retort, "I do SO have a G-spot, you rotten scientists!"

From where I'm sitting, it would be really nice if I could find a link to the study itself; all I can find are blog posts and news stories about it. One such example is at the BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/8439000.stm

Rush Limbaugh declares his health is fine - and so is nation's health care system.

Conservative radio loudmouth Rush Limbaugh learned this week there's nothing wrong with his heart - and there's nothing wrong with the nation's health care system.

At a New Year's Day news conference in Honolulu, Limbaugh said Friday that tests revealed nothing medically wrong with his heart.

Severe chest pains landed him in a Hawaii hospital Wednesday.

"The pain was real, and they don't know what caused it," Limbaugh said.

Doctors said he did not have a heart attack and he doesn't suffer from heart disease.

Turning from his health to politics, Limbaugh declared Friday he got the best health treatment in the world "right here in the United States of America."

"I don't think there's one thing wrong with the United States health system," Limbaugh said.

I saw part of that news conference on TV, and Rush also said he wasn't given special treatment.

Bullshit.

They Had No Idea

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, January 11, 2001, during the monologue:

Here's an unusual story. Over the weekend, international terrorist Osama bin Laden -- d'ya know this guy? -- made a rare public appearance at the wedding of his son in Afganistan. The couple was registered at "Beds, Bombs and Beyond".

It didn't get much of a laugh, and Jay commented that it was a slow news day.
Yep, another year older and hopefully wiser. I could recap the crap that this year has brought me with much vigor but I will spare you that. Besides, complaining won't change a thing, will it?

I have had a decent year. Not the best, not the worst, but decent. And the years' end has brought some sadness and but also some happiness as well. And there, is where I keep my thoughts...

All in all I wish to make no resolutions to fail at, or empty promises that have no effect on my living at all. But I do wish to embrace the change that is coming and look for the joy in those moments... After all, the most constant thing in the world is change.

Raise your glasses to 2010, may it be prosperous and filled with joy. Blessed be indeed!

 "Analyze of year 2009"
bad things :
*Michael Jackson's death:( It was the worst and the most sad thing happened for me.

good things:
* I met with one of my favourite band at their concert and I kinda became friends with the lead singer!
*I finally got a tattoo as a tribute to my favourite actor&idol River Phoenix. This was a big thing for me!
*I fell in love with Caleb Followill from Kings Of Leon < I know this is a weird fact but Caleb makes me so happy so its a good thing for me.

So 2009 was like this for me.of course a lot of good&bad things happened and I probably forgot most of them but it was a good year for me.Probably the best year of my life,I think I can say that, yes.
I hope everything will be great for me and everyone in new year.

Iran

In Shi'a Islam, the day of Ashura commemorates the martyrdom of Husayn ibn Ali, grandson of Muhammad, who the Shi'a consider his rightful successor as Imam.

On the day of Ashura, 2009, Seyyed Ali Mousavi, the nephew of Mir Hussain Mousavi, was killed during a protest, very probably by the Iranian regime.

Protests have moved outside of Tehran, into cities throughout Iran. The Iranian regime may just have shot itself in the foot, badly. Symbolism is an incredibly powerful thing.

This could bring down the government, or it could be the next Tiannamen. We can't know which. God be with all the protesters.

Dan Radcliffe on Regis and Kelly

  • Dec. 28th, 2009 at 8:28 AM
Just in case you missed it the first time, Dan Radcliffe will be on Regis and Kelly this morning, in a repeat segment. It will probably be movie Half-Blood Prince related.

Regis and Kelly shows here at 9AM Eastern time; check your local listings. I imagine it's also on-line somewhere.

Is This an Instance of "Jumping the Shark"?

I'm kind of pissed off right now, and if you haven't watch the entire fourth season of "Ghost Whisperer" yet, don't click on the cut.

I've Got Another One

  • Dec. 25th, 2009 at 10:02 PM
I was watching an episode of "Ghost Whisperer" called "Home but Not Alone". There was a young actress who(m?) I knew I recognized, but didn't know from where. I didn't recognize any of the names of the guests actresses, except Mimi Kennedy, and I knew it wasn't her. So I looked it up.

She's Hallee Hirsh, who played Rachel Green, Dr. Green's daughter, on "ER". I always thought it was funny that she had the same name as one of the "Friends" characters. Both NBC shows, too. Hmmm.....

I always go "Ghost Whisperer-er-er-er-er" in my head, LOL. Kind of like Sorerer-er-er-er's Stone, LOL.
