My ten year high school reunion was last September (actually on my birthday), but I didn't go because a) I was in Minneapolis that weekend and 2) I wasn't the most popular of students so I'm sure nobody would have remembered me anyway! Oh, sure I would have gone if I had a fabulous life and could brag about it, but alas, I don't! So there was really no need to go.

Because honestly? Having Facebook is almost like a reunion. I have 90 former high school classmates on my Facebook and it's very interesting to see their photos ten years since I've last seen them. There are some that have seemed to age beyond ten years (those were the ones that liked to party according to the photos I saw) and there were those who looked they had never aged since '99. There were classmates who I had once thought as cute or pretty not so attractive now (LOL I am such a bitch) and there were those who were more homely when I went to high school with then who are now simply stunning, the ugly duckling who turned into the swan, if you will. So yeah, thanks to Facebook I can have my own class reunion without actually going to the reunion.

And just for fun, I've made a list of celebs my age who would be in my class, you know, if every single famous person my age happened to go to the same school with me.

Does anyone here have Facebook? Personally, I like it much better than MySpace, but I have to admit it's a bit weird...I've found that search engine where you can look for people from your high school graduating class and added about 20 people who I went to high school with and haven't seen for eight years(!!). It's really weird seeing their pictures because I still think of these people as being 17/18 years old.

The coolest thing was that I found these two girls who I had biology with my senior year. They were a grade younger than me and we were in the same group in biology. I remember we went to the fair together in May '99 and they got me a beanie baby frog as a graduation present...aww...so when I saw their profiles on Facebook, I got so excited and was like, "OMG! It's Jennifer and Nicole!!" They were such sweethearts, aww.

I also found one of my friends from elementary school, Kristi. We were in the talent show with her younger sister and our other two friends, Emily and Jill. We put on some skit...(I also added Emily's younger sister to Facebook!)

I found all my younger cousins from both sides of the family...family reunion, haha!

Oh, and I found one of my very old friends, Jonathan, who grew up on the same block as me...in the '80s!

I wish I could find my friend Cathy from high school...and also Laura, Aimee, and Niya...we had this stupid little club called "Daddy's Visa Card Club." LOL, so random. And if only I could remember the names of the people I went to college camp with!
